Final CUZine 7 cutoff is Sept. 25!
Good Friday afternoon, stewards of the movies of Champaign, Urbana, and the cities beyond! We originally were going to remind you that today, September 20, was the deadline for booking advertising in the October issue of C-U Confidential, but we are struggling to corral enough business to warrant a press run. Since a last-minute crowdsourcing push is not the most appetizing endeavor for us to consider right now, we ask that parties wishing to get in on this last-minute action stump for space by next Wednesday, September 25, 5 p.m. CST, and that friends of the cause spread the word far and wide this weekend.
We’d really appreciate the collective push since we’d like to not fail residents of the C-U as well as attendees of the Freeky Creek Short Film Festival in Fairmount, Drunken Zombie Film Festival in Peoria, Route 66 International Film Festival in Springfield, Embarras Valley Film Festival in Charleston, and the 100th anniversary celebration of Champaign’s own Art Theater who would love to pick up and tuck away all the cinematic news and history fit to be distributed for free. You can glean the current rates here on C-U Blogfidential; we still have both color and black-and-white space – including the valuable inside front cover spot – to tempt your fancy! Hit us up at cuconfidential [at] gmail [dot] com or (217) 418-5685 to ensure your place amongst the cool creators and crafty cineastes of MICRO-FILM Country.
As always, we thank you for your past, present, and future support of all we attempt to do in chronicling a unique cultural subset of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.

p.s. Below is the cover to last year’s issue. We’d like many more to succeed it!
