A Call to Arts is calling for you!
You. Yes, you. The discriminating independent filmmaker residing in a geographic location within reasonable distance of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It is you and your recent film, video, or multi-media work that will be the primary focus of this month’s edition of A Call to Arts, the community art critique co-sponsored by UIUC’s Krannert Art Museum and 40 North/88 West – if you decide to attend with playable DVD in hand. Will you? Certainly, your humble editor will know who is naughty and who is nice since he and C-U documentary stalwart Jay Rosenstein are helping with tonight’s critique alongside gracious host and long-time MICRO-FILM friend Jenny Southlynn.
Date is tonight, Tuesday, February 17. Location is Room 62, the basement auditorium of the Krannert Art Museum. Address is 500 E. Peabody Dr., Champaign, IL. Time is 7 p.m. Admission is free. Be there or be really, really square. Confidential communique is complete.
