IOW: Trishas play in Sandbox
As we hinted in yesterday’s C-U Biz-en-scène column, we’re posting the first music video project to emerge from Neighborhood Sandbox, the hybrid media production firm recently founded by Jason Lindsey of Urbana. Given the worldwide travels he embarks upon regularly to fulfill assignments, it should be no surprise this one required Lindsey to escape the plains of Illinois once again. Collaborator jon holloway joined him in New Mexico to co-direct the following piece, set to the song “Drive” performed by Austin roots-country quartet The Trishas:
Produced by Talia Watkins, manager of Lindsey’s photography studio, and edited by Tim Meyers, whose growing credits list includes ONCE UPON A TIME IN 1972, THE WINDOW INTO TIME, and LEADING LADIES, “Drive” premiered on-line this past Thursday. Meanwhile, the band members – Savannah Welch, Liz Foster, Kelley Mickwell, and Jamie Wilson – have been touring regularly as well as working on a sophomore album in Nashville.
