It’s Time for CUBiz: The Short Form!
Happy holiday weekend! We kept the Biz to a bare minimum this week because non-MFHQ activity took up some of our usual writing time, but it simply leaves more items for us to unveil in future columns! However, you will want to keep an eye on CUBlog tomorrow, Saturday, September 3, when we post our first official announcement about the C-U Confidential ’99 print special! Potential advertisers should write cuconfidential [at] gmail [dot] com right now and request that we add you to our short list for receiving the CU99 rate sheet early next week before we allow the general public to sneak a peek. You do want first dibs on supporting your independent press for independent cinema, don’t you?

Time is ticking away, dearest readers! Treat us to your tales of cinematic wonder experienced as academic or permanent residents of MICRO-FILM Country, and in turn we’ll share it with all your fellow readers as those “five significant movie milestones” become part of CUBlog lore! Check out this earlier post which roughly describes what we’re looking for and then exercise those typing fingers by drafting anecdotes that illustrate how you live la vida cinema in Champaign, Urbana, and the cities beyond.
