CineMicroGraph 1.1 hits Aug. 28
Alrighty, gang, it’s been a much less productive summer here at C-U Blogfidential than originally expected, but I have this sneaky suspicion that we’ll be making up for lost time exponentially over the next 12 months. So, let’s get to it!
The first thing I’d like to announce is the creation of a new copyshop digest called The CineMicroGraph, which will function as a newsletter for all the projects brewing at the Secret MICRO-FILM Headquarters as well as summarize much of the news posted right here on CUBlog. The first issue will begin appearing on Thursday, August 28, in many of the same places where you’ve been able to pick up C-U Confidential. Start by visiting your friendly neighborhood kick-ass stores such as Exile on Main Street, That’s Rentertainment, G-Mart, Cafe Kopi, Record Swap, and Caffe Paradiso.
Depending on the response to this title – defined as people finding it, reading it, sharing it, taking it home, and contacting us about it – we’ll see about expanding its “press run” beyond the initial 250 copies. It is a FREE deal, although we will entertain sponsorships to help pay for it and/or expand the run. Write cuconfidential [at] gmail [dot] com if you’re interested in helping us out in this regard.
We plan to try out the CMG for one academic year, equaling five or six issues, and see whether it’s worth the trouble. You tell us.
