MFHQ MEMO | From Chambana with Love
It has been a six-month slog for your humble editor, given his almost weekly travels back-and-forth between Champaign County and northern Illinois to help dear old Ma JaPan with an end not exactly within reach, but he made an eleventh-hour decision last week to continue the New Art Film Festival this year instead of pushing it into the future. The show will be a leaner affair than usual but get the job done all the same on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at the Art Theater in Champaign. Filmmakers should look for the first press release to circulate next week in regards to the NAFF call for entries; we’ll certainly make note of it here on C-U Blogfidential as a reminder. Cheers!
