Film festivals rule downstate Illinois this month as the Route 66 Film Festival (September 16-17, 2006, Springfield), Embarras Valley Film Festival (September 20-23, 2006, Charleston), and Asian Film Festival: South Korea (September 29-30, 2006, Champaign) vie for the attention of cinephiles everywhere.
